Everything was made very clear to us right from the beginning much better than any of the other companies we contacted. Everybody was very friendly and understood exactly how we wanted it to look and function at the end. Conwy Valley Windows made the building of our conservatory seem so easy and hassle free. We are very happy with both the quality and the look of the finished product and would be pleased to recommend them to anyone wanting this type of extension.

REDUCE YOUR HEATING COSTS.

You can reduce the heat loss from your home by up to 60% if you were to change the existing standard double glazed units with our Silver Star 1.1 Neutral argon gas filled energy saving glazed units. This can be done with out any need of removing any framework just be replacing the glass units without any disruption.

More on ENERGY SAVING GLASS

Low-e glass stands for low emissivity glass. this glass varies from normal clear glass in that one side of the glass has a special metal coating, technically known as low emissivity, or low E. coating. low-E glass type of insulating glass, which increases the energy efficiency of windows by producing the transfer of heat or cold through glass. that means in winter your house is warmer, and in the summer it stays cooler.

There are two types of Low-E (low emissivity) glass available - Pyrolytic (hard coat) is considered to be the medium performer, and sputtered (soft coat) is considered to be the highest performer.

As energysaving will become more and more important in our daily lives implementing low-E glass in our houses will soon be a standard we all have to comply to. The radiation coming from your heating system is long wave radiation and this type of radiation should be contained in your rooms as best as possible.
